Tom Keating has served as a teacher, governmental liaison, college instructor, school board member, and self-employed educator during his 35-year education career. A graduate of Middlebury College, Vermont, and a former seminarian at St. Meinrad School of Theology, Indiana, Tom completed his Ph.D. at Claremont Graduate School, California. He received a Ford Foundation Fellowship in educational leadership, has been a frequent presenter at the Chautauqua Institution in New York, and part of Phi Delta Kappa's author-seminar lecture program. Keating has authored Saturday School: How One Town Kept Out†The Jewish? numerous articles on education, and the booklet Project CLEAN: Safe, Sanitary School Restrooms. Since 1987, his love of penguins has taken him to their natural habitats and to share his adventures around the world. Tom, his wife Lynne, and adult off-springs Jeffrey and Stephanie, are public school graduates engaged in creative pursuits, and based in their hometown Decatur, Georgia.
